I’ve been experiencing issues with the Face ID feature on my iPhone, and it’s becoming quite frustrating. Whenever I try to unlock my phone or use Face ID for other functions, it either fails to recognize my face or doesn’t respond at all. I have tried to reset the Face ID setup, but the problem persists. Sometimes, it works randomly, but there’s no consistency. My device is updated with the latest software, and I’ve already cleaned the camera area, but nothing seems to resolve the issue permanently. I faced a similar issue and discovered that resetting all settings resolved the problem. Go to Settings, then General, followed by Reset, and select Reset All Settings. This won’t erase your data but will reset any custom system settings. Additionally, make sure there’s no interference from accessories like phone cases or screen protectors that might be covering the Face ID sensors.

For me, what worked was making sure nothing was blocking the TrueDepth camera. Check if your phone case isn’t obstructing it, and ensure no dirt or smudges are on the lens. A microfiber cloth should do the trick for cleaning. Also, try to reset your settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This won’t delete your data but can sometimes fix bugs affecting Face ID.
